The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a body was recovered from a fire in Mamer on Tuesday 18 March 2025.
The emergency services received a call at 21:25 about a fire in an apartment building on the Rue de Dublin in Mamer.
Emergency crews were dispatched immediately and managed to extinguish the fire within a short time.
During the subsequent rescue operation, they recovered the body of a person from the building.
They informed the public prosecutor's office who ordered an autopsy to be undertaken as well as the Police Technique to determine the cause of the fire.
