Luxembourg's Bureau of Asset Management (BGA), in its capacity as the State's agent for the management and sale of seized or confiscated assets, has announced that it is organising a public auction, offering 202 confiscated luxury watches.
This sale will take place on Saturday 29 March 2025 at Casino 2000 in Mondorf-les-Bains. Those wishing to participate in person are requested to register in advance online at https://www.lux-auction.com/en. The sale will also be accessible online or by telephone, subject to prior registration. All details, including a detailed catalogue of the watches offered for sale, are available on the website.
Those interested can view the watches on site on 25, 26, 27 and 28 March 2025, according to a specific schedule, after registering online. On the day of the auction, only photographs of the watches will be presented.
To ensure a fair, transparent and secure sale, the BGA has entrusted the organisation to a bailiff, assisted by an auctioneer. The funds raised will be paid in full to the Fund for the Fight against Certain Forms of Crime. This initiative is part of the “crime does not pay” policy and demonstrates Luxembourg’s commitment to using confiscated assets to support projects to combat crime. By transforming assets from illegal activities into resources for the fight against crime, the BGA reaffirms its commitment to a fairer and safer society.
