Due to a power outage yesterday, Wednesday 5 February 2025, affecting the Luxembourg-Gare district, a number of customers were without electricity services for a number of hours, which in turn affected internet and telephony services too.

The power outage is believed to originate from a construction site in the Gare area.

Amongst those affected was POST Luxembourg who reported that a number of services were disrupted or inaccessible, including their www.post.lu website as well as the eboo banking application; in addition, a number of POST points of sale were temporarily closed.

In parallel with Creos' efforts to restore the power supply, POST Luxembourg that their technical teams were fully mobilised to restore the affected services as soon as possible.
