The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred in Huldange in northern Luxembourg on Saturday evening.
At around 18:10 on Saturday 25 January 2025, an accident was reported in Op d'Schmett in Huldange, in which a vehicle hit a pedestrian. A police patrol went to the scene and found two injured pedestrians, one of whom was seriously injured. Both were taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment on-site. An accident report was drawn up.
The seriously injured pedestrian died in hospital on Sunday 26 January 2025. In order to determine the exact cause of death, the public prosecutor's office has requested an autopsy.
