Luxembourg's Ministry of Finance has reported that, on 24 January 2025, S&P Global Ratings confirmed Luxembourg's "AAA" rating with stable outlook.
The rating reflects the country's resilience thanks to the country's solid economic and financial fundamentals, the diversity of its economy, in particular its robust financial sector, and an efficient and transparent institutional framework.
According to the agency, the Luxembourg economy will benefit from the continued easing of monetary policy and the recovery of growth in the euro area, which will allow real GDP to average 2.2% over the period 2025-2028.
Finally, the agency underlined Luxembourg's attractiveness for investors thanks to its political stability and the predictability of its policies.
