The Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) has announced that the Bock Casemates received its 200,000th visitor, a record for one of the city's top tourist attractions.

The 200,000th visitor was presented with a special gift from the LCTO to commemorate this moment, a festive occasion that allowed one to feel the living link between past and present within the historic walls of the casemates.

A cultural gem and tourist attraction

The Bock Casemates, an architectural marvel dating back to the 17th century, tells fascinating stories of glory, defence and transformation. As an integral part of the fortifications and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it symbolises Luxembourg’s cultural heritage and attract visitors from all over the world, captivated by their impressive history and unique atmosphere. 

With this significant milestone, the Bock Casemates is positioned as Luxembourg City’s number one tourist attraction.
