Luxembourg's Ministry of Home Affairs and the High Commission for National Protection (HCPN) have reported that a "LU-Alert" test alert SMS message is being sent out on Monday 2 December 2024.
The government is continuing the implementation of its strategy for testing the "LU-Alert" public warning and information system with the monthly test of the siren network as well as a local and national test of SMS messages. In this context, some people will receive two test messages by SMS. These messages will be sent in parallel on the "LU-Alert" mobile application as well as on the website www.lu-alert.lu.
Since this is a test alert, there is no need to act or to adopt any particular behaviour.
