The Grand Ducal Police have reported that an individual was seriously injured in a house fire that broke out in Esch-sur-Alzette on Wednesday 27 November 2024.
Shortly before 05:00 on Wednesday, the police were notified of a house fire on Rue Victor Hugo in Esch-sur-Alzette. The emergency services immediately went to the scene and the adjacent buildings were also evacuated. The fire was brought under control.
A resident of the house was critically injured in the fire and taken to hospital.
The street was closed for the duration of the emergency operation. The police added that the relevant department will carry out further investigations.
