The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a fatal road accident occurred in Bettembourg on the evening of Monday 9 September 2024.
At around 19:40 on Monday, the police were informed of an accident between two cars on Route d'Esch, near the intersection with Rue des Prés, in Bettembourg.
One of the drivers involved in the crash, a 31-year-old man, died at the scene despite emergency treatment.
In order to clarify the exact cause of the accident, the forensic police department was commissioned to carry out investigations on-site by order of the public prosecutor's office.
