The Grand Ducal Police have reported an incident in which a motorist was found to be driving under the influence of drugs.
At around 00:55 on Tuesday 12 August 2025, during a vehicle inspection on Boulevard Grande-Duchesse Charlotte in Ettelbruck, police officers detected the smell of cannabis coming from inside the vehicle. An on-site drug test on the driver returned a positive result.
The driver was also found to be carrying cash and a small amount of hashish, as well as drug paraphernalia and pepper spray. These items were confiscated by order of the public prosecutor's office.
The authorities drew up an official report.
