At 13:30 on Monday 2 September 2024, MeteoLux issued an update to its yellow weather warning issued earlier in the day, for the afternoon.
The weather alert is for between 11:00 and 19:00, during which time they warn of localised thunderstorms, with rain of between 25 and 35 l/m2.
While the Yellow Weather Alert remains in force for the south of the Grand Duchy, that for the north of the country has been upgraded to Orange (up to 16:00).
Residents were also warned of hail which could also be a possibility.
