3 Drunk Driving Incidents Lead to 2 Licence Confiscations

In the afternoon on Saturday, a police patrol noticed a heavily damaged vehicle driving on Rue du Canal in Esch-sur-Alzette. The vehicle was stopped immediately. On the night of Sunday, at around 02:10, a traffic accident occurred on the CR141, between Wasserbillig and Mompach. According to initial information, the driver lost control of his vehicle in a curve, collided with a road sign and eventually came to a halt in a ditch. The driver was slightly injured and taken to hospital for treatment. An alcohol test was positive, and a report was filed.
