The Grand Ducal Police have reported that in the aerly hours of sunday morning, a witness reported a forklift truck being driven by young men on the Rue de l'industrie in Bertrange.
The incident happened at around 00:50 and a police patrol was dispatched. Upon arrival, the police officers were able to stop and check the forklift driver and a car following him. The young men said they had found the forklift and that the keys were in it and so they took the forklift for a trip.
While the person driving the forklift is currently banned from driving and his brother, who was following the forklift in the car, does not have a driver's license, both were found to be under the influence of alcohol.
The car was also confiscated.
