On Thursday 15 February 2024, the Grand Ducal Police announced that 39-year-old Fabian Almeida Matos has been missing since the afternoon of Monday 12 February 2024.
The missing man was described as being around 1.60-1.70 metres tall and having a strong build. He has long, black hair (likely styled with gel), brown eyes and a short, full beard. He wears glasses. He has tattoos on both arms and his chest. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a black T-shirt, a black and grey coat, blue jeans and white sneakers.
The man speaks Luxembourgish, French and English. He is probably driving a grey Honda car (Civic model) with Luxembourg license plates and could be in the Mersch area.

Update: The Grand Ducal Police have since confirmed that the missing man was found "safe and sound" on Thursday 15 February 2024.
