The Grand Ducal Police reported being alerted to an individual with a stab wound at the train station in Differdange, on the evening of Wednesday 31 January 2024.
A police patrol located the victim on site. After receiving first aid at the scene, the man was taken to a hospital for further treatment.
According to initial information, the victim is said to have been involved in an argument in Esch-Belval between the victim's companion and two other individuals. In the ensuing altercation, the victim suffered minor injuries to his stomach. Investigations have been launched in this regard.
