On Tuesday 30 January 2024, the Grand Ducal Police reported that they were alerted of a theft involving deception in Luxembourg-Gasperich.

It transpired that on the late morning of Tuesday, a theft occurred in which the perpetrator pretended to be an employee of a charitable organisation to gain access to the victim’s house. Upon leaving the house, the individual stole the victim’s wallet.

The person responsible was not found, and the police started an investigation.
