On the evening of Thursday 11 January 2024, the Grand Ducal Police reported that a missing 34-year-old man has been found dead.
The 34-year-old man from Tuntange had been missing since Monday 8 January 2024. According to the police, he was found dead in the Ansembourg area during a large-scale police search operation on Thursday.
The man's bicycle and other personal belongings had been found on Tuesday 9 January 2024.
According to initial findings, the man's death was not as a result of any "external influence".
The Luxembourg Public Prosecutor's Office has ordered an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
