Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has issued a nationwide weather warning for snow on Thursday 30 November 2023.
The yellow warning (representing "potential danger") arrives in the context of ongoing snowfall witnessed across the Grand Duchy in the past few days. The warning will be in place from 15:00 to 21:00 on Thursday.
During this time, 1 to 2 cm of fresh snow is expected, although up to 4 cm of snow may form in parts of the country. Temperatures could drop to -3 °C.
Update: MeteoLux later extended its weather warning to the morning of Friday 1 December 2023. The yellow warning for snow remains in place from 18:00 on Thursday until 06:00 on Friday.
