Peaceful protest in Luxembourg city on 25 November 2023, calling for the release of hostages in the Middle East;

Over the weekend, separate protests were held in Luxembourg city surrounding the continued war in the Middle East.
On Saturday lunchtime, a couple of hundred people assembled at the Place de l'Europe in Luxembourg and marched across the Red Bridge towards the city centre, supporting Palestine. While it held up traffic trying get from Kirchberg to Luxembourg city, it passed off peacefully.
In another protest, around 60 people supporting the Israeli cause gathered in front of the Galeries Lafayette entrance in Luxembourg-Hamilius, calling for the release of hostages. This was also peaceful.
