Heat Warning Issued for Luxembourg on Monday Afternoon

Luxembourg's weather portal MeteoLux has issued a weather warning for high temperatures across the Grand Duchy on the afternoon of Monday 11 September 2023.

The yellow heat warning ("potential danger"), which follows similar alerts in place over the past weekend, will apply for all of Luxembourg from 14:00 to 19:00 on Monday.

Maximum temperatures are expected to reach between 30 °C and 32 °C.

In addition, a yellow ozone alert will be in place across the country from 12:00 to midnight on Monday. During this period, ozone levels in the air may exceed the pre-information threshold of 160 µg/m3.

There are currently no such alerts foreseen for Tuesday 12 September 2023.
