On Friday 4 August 2023, Luxembourg's Ministry of the Interior, together with the Ministry of State and the High Commission for National Protection (HCPN), announced that they will undertake another in the series of monthly tests of the siren network and GouvAlert mobile application.
This latest test will take place on Monday 7 August 2023; the government will continue to implement its strategy for testing the public alert and information system. As announced in June, these latest tests - by way of zonal SMS - will take place without the details being announced beforehand.
