The Grand Ducal Police have reported that, on Wednesday 2 August 2023, a man was assaulted in Luxembourg city centre.
The incident happened at around 19:20 near Place Hamilius. The police were infrmed that there was an altercation between several people; when a police patrol arrived at the scene, they discovered that a man had been threatened with a knife by two other men and then hit on the head with a glass bottle. They also stole money from his jacket before fleeing on foot.
The police has started an investigation into the incident.
