The Grand Ducal Police have issued a Call for Witnesses following a hit-and-run incident in Luxembourg-Weimerskirch on Wednesday 2 August 2023.
The incident happened at around 15:45, with what the police described as a "traffic accident followed by a hit-and-run" on the Rue Munchen-Tesch in Luxembourg-Weimerskirch.
A man was riding his electric scooter from Parc Laval towards Rue Auguste Laval, avoiding an obstacle. At the same time, a dark vehicle overtook him; the scooter rider could no longer avoid it, they impacted and he was knocked to the ground. In the process, he sustained minor injuries; however, the vehicle continued its journey in the direction of Rue Auguste Laval, without stopping.
In this context, the police are looking for witnesses who may have relevant information in this regard.
