The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a man's dead body was found in a pond in northern Luxembourg on the afternoon of Tuesday 18 July 2023.
According to the police report, the corpse was discovered in a pond in Hoscheid-Dickt, a village in the municipality of Hoscheid in the north of Luxembourg.
The man's identity has already been determined, the police said, without going into further detail.
The public prosecutor's office has ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. Other investigations have been initiated.
