On Thursday 13 July 2023, the Grand Ducal Court announced on social media that Prince Félix and Princess Claire of Luxembourg are expecting their third child.
The Facebook post did not go into any further detail but noted that "both families join in their children's joy".
Prince Félix, who is the second-born child of the Grand Duke and the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, married Claire Lademacher on 21 September 2013 at the Basilica of Sainte Marie-Madeleine de Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume in France. Through the marriage, the latter assumed the title of "princess".
The royal couple already have a daughter and a son: Princess Amalia Gabriela Maria Teresa, born on 15 June 2014 in Luxembourg, and Prince Liam Henri Harmut, born on 28 November 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland.
