Orange Weather Alert Issued for Strong Winds on Friday

Luxembourg's weather portal, MeteoLux, has issued an orange weather warning in relation to strong winds for Friday evening.

In addition to the nationwide yellow warning for strong winds currently in place (until 17:00 for on Thursday 17 February 2022), MeteoLux has issued a similar yellow warning for all of Luxembourg for Friday 18 February 2022 between 14:00 and 16:00 and again between 20:00 and 00:00. Wind gusts of between 65 and 85 km / h are expected.

Moreover, a nationwide orange weather warning for "violent" winds will be put in place from 16:00 until 20:00 on Friday, with wind speeds reaching between 90 and 100 km / h.
