The Grand Ducal Police has confirmed that a man was arrested early on Friday afternoon in Luxembourg-ville on suspicion of dealing in illegal drugs.

On Friday 5 March 2021, at around noon, a police patrol on Place de la Gare in Luxembourg-ville was made aware of a man who was alleged to be selling drugs there. 

When the man was checked, 20 balls of cocaine, a large amount of cash and an illegal jack-knife were discovered. 

On the orders of the public prosecutor, the man was arrested and brought before the examining magistrate on Saturday morning. The drugs, the money, the illegal knife and a mobile phone were all confiscated.
