The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a serious traffic accident involving a pedestrian occurred in Grevenmacher in eastern Luxembourg on Tuesday morning.
At around 07:20 on Tuesday, a car hit a pedestrian who was crossing the street on a pedestrian crossing on Route du Vin, not far from the campsite in the direction of Machtum.
The female victim suffered serious injuries. She was taken to hospital after receiving emergency medical attention at the scene of the accident.
According to the latest information, her injuries are not considered life threatening.
An accident report was drawn up.
