Following a road accident in Grevenmacher last Monday evening, 18 January 2021, the pedestrian died on Saturday night as a result of her injuries.
The accident had involved a 20 year-old pedestrian who was hit by an car which was being driven across a pedestrian crossing on the road below the Luxembourg-Germany border bridge. She suffered life-threatening injuries as a result of the accident; she was taken to hospital for treatment after initial emergency medical care at the scene of the accident.
However, the pedestrian succumbed to her injuries in hospital last night.
