Grand Duke Visits COVID-19 Vaccination Centre in Limpertsberg

On Monday 18 January 2021, His Royal Highness the Grand Duke of Luxembourg, accompanied by Minister of Health Paulette Lenert and the Mayor of the City of Luxembourg, Lydie Polfer, visited the COVID-19 vaccination centre at Hall Victor Hugo in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg. 

During this visit, the Grand Duke thanked the state and City of Luxembourg teams who contributed to the rapid opening and the smooth operation of the vaccination centre.

The exemplary coordination between all employees enabled them to put everything in place in a short time to open the first vaccination centre in the heart of the capital, thus contributing to the fight against coronavirus.

A second vaccination centre is set to open in Mondorf-les-Bains in south-eastern Luxembourg.
