The Atert police station has announced the merging of its Redange and Rambrouch sites, located in western Luxembourg.

Since 1 January 2021, these two sites have been definitively grouped together on the sole site of Redange. The Rambrouch site, which already operated by appointment only, closed its doors at the end of 2020.

The aim of this merger is to optimise the police presence in the region, with more officers available to carry out patrols and interventions.

In principle, the Redange site will be open to the public by appointment twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. However, due to the COVID-19 health crisis, public reception is currently only available in the Luxembourg (Verlorenkost), Diekirch, Esch-sur-Alzette and Grevenmacher police stations.
