The Grand Ducal Police have reported that, in accordance with the COVID-19 restrictions in force, they are undertaking a number of controls, one of which was in Küntzig, Clemency, on Friday 25 December, Christmas Day.
A private celebration was reported to police at around 18:30, whereupon a police patrol discovered that there were more guests present than were permitted. All those present were fined.
In addition, around 20 other fines were issued on Christmas Eve and on Christmas Day, mostly due to violations of the curfew.
