The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a construction worker suffered serious injuries following a work accident on Rue Mme Mayrisch de St Hubert in Dudelange on Thursday morning.
At around 11:20 on Thursday, an employee fell off an extension ladder from a height of about five metres and suffered life-threatening injuries.
Following on-site medical attention, the victim was taken to hospital.
Officials from the Inspectorate of Labour and Mines intervened and the public prosecutor was informed of the accident. An accident report has been drawn up.
