The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a forest fire broke out near Beaufort on Saturday afternoon.
Around 14:40 on Saturday, police received reports of a forest fire near Beaufort, in which an area of around 3600m2 of undergrowth burned down. The "Hatzendellt" site is located near a hiking trail.
Anyone with information on people who were in this forest area on the day in question and who could be associated with the fire is asked to contact the Echternach police station via tel.: 244-721000 or email: police.echternach@police.etat.lu.
