The 14th edition of the Luxembourg Open Days, held this past weekend, attracted a record 31,000 visitors.

The Luxembourg Open Days 2019 saw over 31,000 members of the public visit 38 companies on 52 different participating sites. Over the past fourteen years, a total of more than 278,400 visitors have been able to discover the diversity of local businesses as part of the Open Days.

This year's edition, under the theme "Dat ka Lëtzebuerg" (Luxembourg can do that), featured the participation of several companies in a business area where visitors were able to travel with a shuttle bus. The most visited establishments were the CFL Atelier Central in Luxembourg City, the Moulins de Kleinbettingen, Kaempff-Kohler in Niederanven, the SICA recycling centre in Kehlen, Ceratizit in Mamer and Grosbusch in Ellange.

Organised by the communication agency "brain & more", the Luxembourg Open Days were once again held under the patronage of the Ministry of the Economy (department for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises). Indeed, Luxembourg's Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises actively supported the initiative by visiting four companies in the Syrdall Business Park on Saturday morning: Kaempff-Kohler,  Menuiserie Caramuta, Printing Ossa and Marbrerie Bertrand.

Given its continued success, the Luxembourg Open Days will be returning with a 15th edition on the weekend of 19-20 September 2020.
