Luxembourg's Ministry of the Economy has announced increases in the prices of diesel, heating oil and diesel for industrial/commercial and agricultural/horticultural use.
As of Thursday 20 August 2026, diesel rises by 4.1 cents to €1.963 per litre (including VAT), while heating oil increases by 3.9 cents to €1.454 per litre (including VAT). Diesel for industrial/commercial use goes up by 4.1 cents to €1.568 per litre, with the agricultural/horticultural rate also climbing by 4.1 cents to €1.415 per litre (including VAT).
Petrol prices remain unchanged, with unleaded 95 octane at €1.727 per litre and unleaded 98 octane at €1.898 per litre. LPG and propane also remain stable at 68.7 and 71.5 cents per litre respectively.
Fuel prices have fluctuated in Luxembourg and other countries in recent months amid the ongoing crisis in the Middle East.
