Today, Former Miss Luxembourg Natascha Bintz kicked off the Johnnie Walker campaign “Join the Pact” to never drink and drive, for Luxembourg.

Since 2008, Johnnie Walker has made a commitment to create a safe environment for everyone to enjoy themselves responsibly – and getting home safely is part of this.

#JOINTHEPACT asks consumers everywhere to make a commitment to never drink and drive through signing a pact. Since 2008 #JOINTHEPACT has been activated worldwide in over 40 countries on five continents engaging countless media, government officials, stakeholders and consumers and managed to collect over 14 million commitments.

The campaign was launched today for Luxembourg in the presence of Natascha Bintz, who also signed the Pact and said: “Alcohol can be part of a balanced lifestyle but there are times when alcohol is not a good idea. For example when you are pregnant, like me, or when you plan on driving a car. It’s fantastic to see how this campaign has already reached millions of people around the world. Now we have the opportunity to also do our part in Belgium by joining the pact to never drink and drive by using the hashtag #JOINTHEPACT.

Dirk Van Ham, ‎Corporate Relations Director Continental Europe at Diageo said: ”Diageo has been working with governments, police, NGO’s and other community members for many years to prevent drink driving. We started the #JOINTHEPACT campaign in 2008 as part of our tireless determination to make progress on reducing this important issue and we believe that as a result we have contributed to make our roads safer.”
