Luxembourg's Ministry of Labour, Employment and the social and Solidarity Economy has published details of the new minimum salaries in the Grand Duchy which came into effect yesterday, 1 August 2018, following publication of July's rise in the consumer price index which triggered the automatic indexation.
The 2.5% rise in salaries now means that the minimum monthly salary in Luxembourg is €2,048.54 (for over 18s), with a minimum hourly rate of €11.8413. The minimum salary for qualified people is now €2,458.25.
