During Monday night, a 75 year-old man from Niederfeulen (near Ettelbruck) did of his injuries sustained when hit by a vehicle in the town early on Saturday.
The accident happened shortly after 07:00 on Saturday morning on the rue de Bastogne. According to the Grand Ducal Police, the pedestrian - a resident of Niederfeulen - was hit by a van / minibus as he was crossing the road.
The pedestrian was brought to hospital by ambulance, where he died on Monday night. An investigation has been initiated to determine the exact circumstances of the accident.
