On Monday 11 December 2017, the drug department of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Grand Ducal Police in Esch-sur-Alzette, by order of the investigating judge, arrested three drug dealers who had been active in the south of the country for what was described as "a long time".
Their narcotics business consisted mainly of dealing in heroin and cocaine.
A large amount of heroin, such as its cosolvent, a significant amount of cocaine, and a number of heroin and cocaine balls ready for sale, were confiscated. In addition to cash and mobile phones, two vehicles were also confiscated.
The three persons were brought before a magistrate in court.​
