A 38 year-old motorist who lived just across the border in France died in a road accident on the A3 on Sunday evening.
The accident happened shortly after 23:00 close to the border crossing, inside Luxembourg. The Grand Ducal Police have reported that a car, in trying to overtake another vehicle, collided with the rear of a truck. Such was the force of the collision, the car burst into flames; the driver's body was recovered from the vehicle after emergency services arrived at the scene, from France, who extinguished the blaze but could not save the driver.
