The Grand Ducal Police have announced that a 61 year-old man, Norbert Mersch, has been reported missing from his home in Noertzange, near Schifflange in the south-west of the country.

He has been missing since Sunday 15 October 2017; he was last seen at around 18:30 that day, in his home.

He is described as around 1.7m tall, of average build with short hair and a moustache. When last seen he was wearing dark trousers, a red and blue shirt with black leather shoes.

He may be driving his car, a grey Hyundai i30, registered in Luxembourg SB 6728.
