
Developed by Luxembourg for Tourism, the tourist reference site visitluxembourg.com has had a makeover.
Offering additional experiences to its users, the newly launched, revamped tourism site visitluxembourg.com aims to work as a unique travel guide for all of Luxembourg.
Visitluxembourg.com, with more than three million visitors in 2016, is the first tourist site on the Grand Duchy. Today the site was presented under a new guise, the model having been completely redesigned and giving pride of place to images and videos. More content will allow tourists to learn about the diversity of Luxembourg’s tourist offer and how to quickly plan a stay.
Serving as a travel guide, the site represents the capital and the five regions of the Grand Duchy along with the various experiences each one has to offer.
Visitors to the site will now be able to refine their search among the different itineraries proposed in the section "tours" or sort among the various sporting and cultural events, among others, displayed in the “agenda” section. There will also be a “favourites” section.
Among the new contents, the section devoted to shopping as a tourist activity has been considerably enriched to meet the high demand of tourists and thus to increase the attractiveness of the destination. As a showcase of the diversity and quality of the shops in the Grand Duchy, this theme is presented in every detail: by city, type of business or event. Specific pages are also dedicated to local products.
Finally, the visitluxembourg.com website will be available in French, German, English and Dutch.
