On Monday 16 October 2017, two workmen at a construction site in the Ban de Gasperich were injured in an accident.
The accident happened on the Boulevard F.W. Raiffeisen at around 10:00. It is understood that the workers were working with a slab of concrete, when it suddenly gave way; the two workers crashed with it about 6 metres down.
The other workers were still safe. The civil defense had arrived at the scene of the accident; at 13:00 they confirmed that there are no more persons among the rubble.
