The President of the Republic of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid, was also welcomed by Luxembourg's Prime Minister and Minister of State, Xavier Bettel, for a meeting at the Hotel de Bourgogne.
Among other things, the visit made it possible, in line with previous meetings, to affirm the desire to deepen cooperation between the two countries in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector. In June 2017, PM Bettel and the Estonian Prime Minister, Juri Ratas, signed an agreement for the installation of a digital embassy of Estonia in Luxembourg. The technical management contract of the digital embassy was presented today.
