On Monday afternoon, a construction worker fell to his death when working on a steel structure erected next to the Viaduc bridge across the Pétrusse valley in Luxembourg city centre.

The accident happened at around 13:00. The man, a 44 year-old Portuguese national, died from injuries sustained in the fall.

The public prosecutor and the ITM were informed and send representatives to the scene if the accident to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the accident.
