A passenger was rushed to hospital in critical condition following a head-on collision with a tree on the Remich-Bous N2.
The accident occurred shortly before 17:00 on Saturday 11 June 2016, as a vehicle carrying three occupants collided with a tree at the Erpeldange junction of the CR149. The driver and the passenger in the backseat were able to free themselves from the car and suffered a shock. However, the passenger in the front seat had to be released from the car by a rescue team. The individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to hospital by helicopter.
The police have asked that any witnesses of the accident on Route N2 between Remich and Bous, who would be able to give useful details on how the accident unfolded, to contact the Grevenmacher Police Department at 4997-7550 or the emergency hotline 113.
