Workers at a construction site in Diekirch had to intervene on Thursday morning after finding a swan caught in a metal framework.
The bird was discovered trapped at a construction site on the Sauer bridge along rue du Pont in Diekirch at around 08:00. Police Officer from the Diekirch Police Department were called in to help the construction workers liberate the helpless animal from the steel frame.
The bird was reportedly not injured and calmly made its way back to the river following the incident.
