273 signatories of the Contrat d'Accueil et d'Intégration (CAI) gathered at the Forum Geesseknäppchen on Saturday for a new edition of the CAI Orientation Day.

For nearly five years now, the Luxembourg Office for Reception and Integration (OLAI) has been offering the CAI as a means of facilitating the integration of non-Luxembourgish residents in the Grand Duchy. This contract extends over two years and involves reduced rates for language courses, civic courses and an Orientation Day.

The latesr edition consisted of an afternoon featuring various social activities, including interactive workshops, information stands and World Cafés, enabling the signatories to learn about topics centering around everday life such as health, politics, entrepreneurship, housing, education and culture.

The aim of the day was to bring the signatories together and provide them with useful information about life in Luxembourg, with 23 institutions and associations joining the fold to gain direct contact with non-Luxembourg citizens and give them the means to better integrate through active participation in the cultural, political, economic and social dimensions of the country.
