Late on Saturday afternoon, a fire broke out at an abandoned building in Junglinster.
The fire happened at a building on the Rue du Village in the town; the alarm was raised shortky after 17:30 and was brought under control within the hour by emergency fire-fighters from Junglister, Grevenmacher, Mertert, Niederanven, Schuttrange and Consdorf.
During the blaze which concerned the roof of the building, one fire-fighter received what were described as minor injuries to his arm.
The public prosecutor has ordered an investigation into the cause of the blaze.
